On VMware ESXi, OMSS stores the exporting telemetry logs for NVMe devices on persistent scratch location. The persistent scratch location, /scratch/log, stores the telemetry log files and the /var/log contains a link to that log file. If a persistent scratch location on the ESXi host is not properly configured, then this might be a problem in low-memory situations. VMware ESXi may experience intermittent issues due to lack of space. For more information, see https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1033696.
